Enjoy Small Plates With a Scenic View
Nestled along Wallenpaupack Creek, Glass – wine.bar.kitchen is a hidden gem serving up mouthwatering, American-influenced tapas. The stylish restaurant is located just a short drive from Lake Wallenpaupack in the former O’Connor Glass Factory. The restaurant pays homage to the building’s history through the original glass mold prints and displays.
Not only is the food exceptional, but you can also take in gorgeous panoramic views of the river gorge falls from the dining room and decks. While the menu does change seasonally, you’ll find plenty of options ranging from sharable cheese trays and small plates to elegant dinners.
We started off our food tour with the delicious Spicy Tuna Crackers with ahi tuna drizzled in tiger and eel sauce and topped off with tobiko. We then moved on to the massive family-style charcuterie board filled with gourmet cheeses, meats and crackers. It’s a must-have that’s perfect for sharing with the whole table.
The Center Cut Pork Chop is another highlight of the summer menu, featuring a tart cherry glaze and a tasty spring vegetable slaw. Other notable mentions from the menu are the Cheese Ravioli Primavera, the Grilled Asparagus and the delicious Hybrid Romaine & Heirloom Tomato Salad topped with creamy buttermilk ranch.
You’ll find Glass – wine.bar.kitchen located inside Ledges Hotel at 119 Falls Avenue in Hawley. You can dine indoors or outdoors while taking in the beautiful scenery.
