Have Some Classic County Fair Fun

As summer winds down, soak up those final nights and savor the season’s end at one of our region’s beloved county fairs. With vibrant neon lights, the infectious laughter of children on carnival rides, and the mouth-watering aroma of fair food, these fairs are all about celebrating community and evoke the joy of simpler times.

The Pennsylvania Association of County Fairs’ 2024 theme, “Flourishing in Opportunity, Rooted in Agriculture,” embodies the spirit of county fairs, blending fun with rural traditions and cultivating an appreciation for community, town, and loved ones.

From late July through September, nine county fairs open their gates, inviting you to explore the festivities. Whether you’re listening to live music, trying your skills at classic carnival games, cheering on tractors races, or simply indulging in treats, each fair promises unforgettable fun.
