Upcoming Council Event Spotlight – Ugly Sweater Holiday Party!
Be sure to mark your calendars because we will be holding our 2nd Annual Chamber Ugly Sweater Holiday Party hosted by the Young Professional Council on December 15th. This holiday party invites members from every Chamber council and our community to network and support a great cause. There will be food, fun, and, of course, an Ugly Sweater Contest! We will also have basket raffles and surprises throughout the evening. Proceeds from this event will benefit Valley Santa, a local non-profit working to give Christmas to every child in Luzerne County. And, to tie it all together in the spirit of the holiday season, we will have the opportunity to volunteer with Valley Santa one week before the event on Wednesday, December 1st at 5:30 PM, where we will be assisting with gift wrapping! Community Partnership Opportunities: Sign Your Business Up To Participate in Small Business Saturday And Get Free Promotion!
Join us for the 13th Annual Small Business Saturday® on Saturday, November 26th, 2022! Small Business Saturday® occurs on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to encourage people to shop small and bring more holiday shopping to small businesses. This campaign is in partnership with the Diamond City Partnership, The Downtown Wilkes-Barre Business Association, and the City of Wilkes-Barre, and is heavily supported by our Chamber Ambassadors Council.
On November 26th, small businesses throughout the Greater Wyoming Valley will offer special deals or discounts at their store location, giving local shoppers an incentive to shop small, and are given free promotional opportunities through digital and print ad publications and promotions.

The Holiday Market is coming back to Midtown Village in downtown Wilkes-Barre this year! Join us on Small Business Saturday, November 26th, for a day filled with holiday shopping from a wide variety of local vendors, live music, performances, and more! This event is in partnership with Wilkes-Barre City, The Diamond City Partnership, the Times Leader Media Group. This event is also presented by PPL Electric Utilities.
