Though originally founded over 100 years ago as a community hospital, Geisinger has grown to become a source of innovation and leadership within the healthcare industry. The regional, nonprofit health system employs more than 26,000 caregivers, educators, researchers and supportive staff.
Since 1915, Geisinger has expanded to include 10 hospital campuses, 116 primary care and specialty clinics, over 1,700 physicians and the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine which currently enrolls over 600 students.
