Helping Hands Make A Difference
We honor and celebrate our remarkable planet as we observe Earth Day annually on April 22. This special day serves as an important reminder to come together and take action for a healthier planet and brighter future. It’s also a reminder of the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability – something we know plenty about in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Our local nonprofits are hard at work protecting our natural lands and water, not only for Mother Nature’s sake, but for the health and happiness of everyone who calls NEPA home. Now it’s our turn to pitch in. Join a crew picking up litter, planting trees or maintaining local trails in observance of Earth Day.
Get involved this Earth Day and protect NEPA’s natural wonders by participating in one of these volunteer opportunities. Or, get your hands dirty in your own community making a difference.
