Long Live Playtime in Edwardsville is a vibrant indoor children’s play space designed to inspire learning, creativity, and connection. Located in the Gateway Shopping Center, this inclusive facility offers a safe and engaging environment where kids and toddlers can explore, play, and grow. Thoughtfully created with developmentally appropriate activities, it supports children of all abilities while encouraging social skills, problem solving, and imagination. Parents and caregivers can relax in the on-site café, enjoying coffee, espresso, tea, and lemonade while little ones embark on new adventures.

Long Live Playtime provides a wide range of opportunities for families, from day passes and memberships to unforgettable birthday celebrations. Party packages can be customized for small groups of 10 or scaled up to private playspace rentals for school gatherings and large events. Each celebration is designed to create lasting memories in a playful, inclusive atmosphere.

Play with Purpose

Founded in 2024 by Marisa and Brian Schmidt, Long Live Playtime was created with community and inclusivity in mind. Guided by Marisa’s background as an occupational therapist, the facility focuses on play-based learning that meets sensory needs and fosters holistic development. Their mission is to provide a welcoming space where families feel encouraged, supported, and connected.
