Experience the beauty of the Pocono Mountains year-round at Beltzville State Park.
Whether you’re spending a summer day by the lake or braving the cold to go cross-country skiing, experience the beauty of the Pocono Mountains year-round at Beltzville State Park.
In the summer, visitors can swim in Beltzville Lake or relax on the pristine sand beach. Boaters can cruise the waters, and kayaks, rowboats, and small motorboats are available for rent. The lake and adjacent Pohopoco Creek are well stocked and prove to be great water for trout and bass.
In any season, the park’s 15 miles of hiking trails always provide breathtaking views. The historical Saw Mill Trail winds past the remains of an old gristmill and an eighteenth century slate quarry. The scenic Falls Trail leads hikers through the forest to Wild Creek Falls.
And for those who can stand the chilly temperatures, the park remains open all winter for cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and iceboating.
