You’ll find this spacious park just behind the Valley View Elementary School along the scenic Lackawanna River. The Recreation Complex is home to the Valley View High School Football Stadium. You’ll also find basketball and tennis courts, a playground and a walking path along the river.

National Fitness Court

The Nation Fitness Court located within the Blakely Borough Recreational Complex is a one-of-a-kind outdoor gym designed for all ages and fitness levels. This free facility features a variety of bodyweight exercise stations, including pull-up bars, step-up boxes, and areas for push-ups and burpees, all set on a 35-by-35-foot rubberized surface. Users can enhance their workouts by scanning a QR code on-site, which links to a free app offering customized routines based on fitness levels.

This park also serves as an extension of the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail.
