A Fun-Filled Fall Day in Jim Thorpe
Come September, we’re itching for lattes, light vests and long walks among the freshly-turned leaves. Known as the “Little Switzerland of America,” Jim Thorpe is ranked as one of the most picturesque places in the country to experience fall.
Whether you’re bringing the kids or planning a grown-up getaway, this must-see town has everything from unique attractions and quaint shops to train rides and craft breweries. And, of course, we have to mention the beautiful Fall Foliage Festival taking place the first three weekends in October.

Get out on the trail early and take in the autumn splendor of the southern Pocono Mountains. Tthis easy-grade 26-mile rail trail is located inside Lehigh Gorge State Park. Enjoy scenic views over the raging whitewater of the Lehigh River.

Grab tickets and hop on the old red trolley for a tour of one of NEPA’s most famous towns. Choose between the Historic Trolley Tour, Wine & Suds Tour, and Ghosts and Graveyards Tour.
