Volunteering Is Time Well Spent Serving Others

Celebrating the season of giving can take many shapes. It can mean giving a special gift to a loved one. It can mean spending time with an old friend. It can mean sharing a meal with family. Or it can mean helping those who need a little extra support.

We know that the people here in NEPA come through time and time again for those in need. So, we asked our local nonprofits and charities how our DiscoverNEPA followers can help them this holiday season and the coming year ahead.

For them, the kindness you offer by lending a helping hand is the best gift they can receive this Christmastime. Your assistance in supporting our area nonprofits allows them to make a true impact on our communities.

Below are a list of featured nonprofits who can use your help immediately. But, there are many more in our Support A Cause directory that would benefit greatly from your assistance. Browse through to connect with an organization that’s important to you.
